What can you expect after we hit record?

  • We’ll spend the first five minutes double checking your audio levels and making sure you’re framed well in the screen.

  • Now we get to the interview.

You should have already been provided the questions from one of your team members, but your interviewer will have a copy if you need them.

If you aren’t happy with one of your answers or just want a do over just let the interviewer know and we’ll do it again.

  • As we finish up we’ll go over any questions or concerns that you have regarding your interview.

Now is the time to speak up if you want a redo.

  • After the interview has ended you’ll be notified that your video file is still uploading.

Please don’t close the window until the upload has finished.

Once the file is done uploading feel free to close out the window or the app and continue on being the awesome person that you are!

FAQs

What do I wear to my interview?

Each company has a unique culture and standard of appearance. Lean into that. Dress how you would if you were meeting with clients or presenting to management.

When will my interview be live?

If your video is for a certain event, expect the premier to be sometime during that event.

What if I mess up a question?

Nothing to worry about. We’ve got plenty of time during our session to revisit a question or two.

If you stumble over your words, take a breath, regain your composure and start again. The magic of editing will make the mistakes disappear!

Why Riverside.FM and not Zoom or Teams?

Zoom and Teams video quality suffers from exaggerated compression. Riverside offers the ability to have a higher quality video file that ensures you will look and sound your best.

Will my interview get me promoted?

No promises on our end, but I wish you the best of luck and good fortune.

What if I need to reschedule?

Please check with your company contact to make any changes to your scheduled interview time.
